SCHENECTADY NY - Walter Kenneth Kemp Jr, "Kenny", age 41 of Schenectady passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born November 15, 1971 in Albany, NY and was educated in the Lansingburgh School District in North Troy, NY. Kenny enjoyed most of his adult life in the Capital District with friends and family while living in Schenectady, NY.
He is survived by his parents, Walter Kenneth Kemp Sr (Sharon Kemp) and Zilla Chattoo-Crandell (John F. Crandell); three children, Taviana Kemp, Nalani Kemp and Joezion Kemp; one brother, Andre Kemp; four sisters, Verena Kemp-Nugent, Elizabeth Kemp, Ashley Kemp and Naomi Kemp; two nieces, Shamaria Kemp, Adrianna Kemp; six nephews, Emmanuel Davis, NaShon Kemp, Michael Roberson, Gabriel Scott, Omarion and Myzel; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins .
New Update: Unfortunately, the viewing has been cancelled so there will be no viewing hours. The services will still begin at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29 for a "Going Home Celebration" at the United Ordained Church, 292 Third Street, Troy, NY 12180. Bishop F. A. Edmunds is officiating and all are welcome to attend. Garland Brothers Funeral Home, in Albany, NY is handling the arrangements and the interment will be in Schenectady at the Parkview Cemetery, at Schenectady's Central Park.
